Notes, Your Way: Pearl Voice update gives clinicians more control

Every practice documents differently. Some providers want a tight, three-section note. Others want every detail captured. Pearl Voice’s latest release adapts to how your team works, and takes some of the guesswork out of periodontal diagnosis.

Build Your Own Templates

You can now create note templates from Pearl’s section library. Name your template, assign it a category, and arrange the sections in the order that fits your workflow. Scope it to a single provider or share it across the whole practice.

Already using Pearl’s built-in templates? You can reorder, add, or remove sections to make them your own.

Voice also no longer drops dictated content that doesn’t fit a defined section. Details like risks and benefits discussions are now captured in the note.

Combine Multiple Templates in One Note

Many visits don’t fit a single template. A patient might come in for an exam and a filling in the same appointment.

Now you can select multiple templates for a visit, and Pearl Voice combines them into one unified note. You no longer have to choose between templates or write separate documentation for the same appointment.

AI-Suggested Perio Staging and Grading

When you complete a perio exam, Voice now suggests a periodontal stage (I-IV) and grade (A-C) following the 2017 AAP/EFP classification standard. The suggestion is calculated automatically from three inputs:

• The perio chart
• X-ray bone levels
• Patient age

Each suggestion comes with its reasoning, so you can see how Voice reached its conclusion. Nothing is saved until you review and confirm it. Voice offers a starting point, and the clinical decision stays with you.
